Day Stay

Tresillian Day Stay is a free service providing a maximum of three day-long appointments at a Tresillian Centre, for parents with early parenting concerns such as adjustment to parenting and associated parenting difficulties. Your partner, a Grandparent or supportive friend is welcome to attend with you and your baby.

A referral from a health professional such as your local Child and Family Health Nurse or your local Doctor, is needed to access Tresillian Day Stay.

Who uses Tresillian Day Stay?

Families with children who are experiencing parenting difficulties associated with:

  • adjustment to parenting
  • breast or formula feeding
  • sleep and settling strategies
  • diet and nutrition
  • multiple babies
  • toddler behaviour
  • anxiety and postnatal depression

Locations and Age Range

Tresillian has three Day Stay Services operating at Canterbury, Nepean and Wollstonecraft.  The Centres cater for families with children aged up to the following ages. 

  • Tresillian Canterbury – Birth to 24 months
  • Tresillian Nepean – Birth to 36 months
  • Tresillian Wollstonecraft – Birth to 12 months

Day Stay operates between 8:00am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
