Dad's Getting To Know You

About this course

The Dad's Getting to Know You Workshop Series is a 4-week facilitated discussion group especially for dads with newborn babies up to 6 months old.

Led by one of our friendly Tresillian nurses, you’ll get all the support you need to learn more about your baby’s social, emotional, and brain development and understand their communication cues. Over 4 weekly classes, you’ll not only build long-term connections with your baby but also with other dads in your local community.  

It is a closed group that builds on from week to week, so commitment to attend is expected.

We know babies are amazing but did you know from birth they have the skills and desire to communicate and that positive interaction and stimulation promote healthy brain development? By responding sensitively your infant can learn what it is like to be understood and to feel valued and safe.

Fees apply to non-Medicare Card holders.

Group registration is available to residents of NSW and ACT.

For Dads who are antenatal or with babies aged up to 12 weeks. Appropriate times to be explored with the group at first session. Pizza provided.
