Nurturing the Next Generation – the First 2000 Days, is a two-day forum aligned with the NSW Government’s commitment to the First 2000 Days as a core health policy priority, recognising the profound and lasting impact of early life on health, wellbeing and life-course outcomes.

The Conference brings together clinicians, educators, researchers, and people with lived experience to showcase research innovation and evidence-informed clinical practice that strengthens collaborative, integrated responses for infants, children and families.

For those working across the perinatal and early childhood continuum, the program will be highly relevant to:

Day 1: Workshop
A pre-Conference workshop will be held on Thursday, 20th August, titled "Building Trust for Dysregulated Dyads – Skills Building to Support Safe Practice”. The aim will be to provide practical, skills-based training. The Workshop will be held at Tresillian Wollstonecraft, NSW.
Day 2: Conference Day
A full Conference day will be held on Friday, 21st August at Northside Conference Centre, Crows Nest. This conference which will consolidate emerging evidence, promote cross-sector learning, and build shared capability to optimise developmental outcomes during the critical first 2000 days of life.
