Can I book myself into Tresillian? 

  • Parents can now refer themselves to a Tresillian service by calling the Tresillian Parent’s Help Line on 1300 272 736.
  • You can either visit a health professional such as your Child and Family Health Nurse or GP; or you can call the Tresillian Parent Helpline on 1300 272 736 (7am – 11pm) for a referral to one of Tresillian’s Day Services or Residential Services. Once Tresillian has received your referral you will receive a text message advising contact details to arrange a booking.

How is Tresillian funded?

  • While the majority of Tresillian’s funding comes from the NSW Ministry for Health we do rely on the generosity of the corporate sector and individual donors to assist us with special projects.

How much does it cost?

  • Day Services are covered by Medicare. Residential Services are covered by Medicare and/or your family’s private health fund. If both parents stay overnight one parent is a boarder and an accommodation/meals charge applies per day. You will be advised of the current rate prior to your admission.

What age group does Tresillian specialise in?

  • Our services specialise in caring for families with a baby, toddler or pre-schooler.

Are there similar services to Tresillian in other parts of Australia?

Does Tresillian run Parenting Groups?

  • Yes, parenting groups are facilitated by experienced staff (nurses, social workers and psychologists) at all Tresillian Centres. Parents in the community are welcome to register, along with those using our services. These programs are designed to improve family functioning and provide parenting information, to promote self-care and understanding of childhood development; and to enhance your relationship with your child. Does Tresillian have a Long Day Care Centre?

  • Yes, Guthrie Early Learning Centre is Tresillian’s community-based long day care service set amidst leafy gardens in Wollstonecraft, on Sydney’s lower north shore. The Centre is renowned for its excellent quality of care and innovative programs provided by a dedicated team of qualified and experienced staff. Guthrie Child Care Centre caters for 42 children per day and is open from 7.30am-5.30pm, Monday – Friday, 49 weeks of the year.
